There are some changes a-brewing over here that I’m unbelievably pumped up about.

For a long time, I’ve wanted to combine my blog with my writer’s site and create an online home that truly reflects who I am and what I have to offer the world.

And now it’s happening!

But first, I want to hear from you. I spend a lot of time on this blog talking about what I love and find delicious, and now it’s your turn.

I’d really appreciate it if you’d take the time to fill out this quick online survey and tell me what you want to see here.

Need more healthy treats? Want more details on living gluten-free? Or do you just want to tell me I’m pretty? Let me know!

Survey participants can enter to win a gift certificate to Whole Foods. So please head on over and tell me what you think by Monday, February 18.

I’ve always been a quick thinker. My career in journalism, public relations and communications taught me to be efficient, alert, absolute.

Since I left my job and returned to school, I’ve been paralyzed with indecision. For the first time, I feel muddled about what I’m meant to do with my life and how I can find my place in the holistic health field, even though I know that’s where I belong. It’s like I’m having the adolescent angst I skipped 15 years ago.

That’s why I’m so pleased to see my classmates jumping in and discovering where they fit.

My friend Cindy loves her chocolate, so she’s begun her own successful chocolate-selling business. She’s a representative for ChocoNat, a raw, organic, fair-trade chocolate company, and she’s the first person to distribute their products in Canada.

A few weeks ago, Cindy sent me a little Valentine’s Day care package of chocolates. Yum. They disappeared fast. Before you judge me, I had some help from the Love in the Kitchen team.

The chocolates come in several flavours, including Acai berry and probiotics. Um, can you think of a better way to balance your gut flora than with chocolate? Raw chocolate is packed with antioxidants, plus it’s rich in vitamins and minerals, including calcium, iron and magnesium (which is why we ladies often crave chocolate during our periods – because we need the extra magnesium).

They were so good, I wanted the chance to share them with all of you. I have three awesome chocolate packages to give away, and there are four ways to win:

– Comment on this post.
– Subscribe to The Copycat Cook by email, then comment on this post to let me know that you did so.
– Follow Cinderella Chocolates on Facebook, then comment on this post to let me know that you did so.
– Visit the Cinderella Chocolate website, then comment here to let me know the chocolate flavour you’d most like to try.

This giveaway is open to anyone in North America. The contest closes on Friday, March 23. Good luck!

When I eliminated gluten from my life a few years ago, I instantly felt better. There was less bloating. Fewer stomach cramps. And better – personal spoiler alert – poops.

Instead of feeling limited, going gluten-free opened up a world of possibilities. In fact, it was the fun I had exploring new recipes and sharing them with friends that prompted me to start this little blog in the first place.

So when Meghan asked me if I was interested in working on her new online program during my internship, of course I was excited, both as a gluten-free groupie and a nutritionist.

Those of you who know me personally are aware that I’m not one to toot my own horn.

But this program is something I’m really proud to be involved in. (And not just because I helped write it.)

The Gluten-Free Renewal Cleanse is a fantastic, delicious way to cut gluten from your life. It includes a 30-page e-book, tons of recipes, and here’s the best part – nutritional support from me and superstar nutritionista Meghan Telpner.

Here are a few more deets about what the program includes:

  • A 30-day guide to Gluten-Free living that you can download immediately after registration.
  • Two 7-day meals plans
  • 45+ amazing and simple Gluten-Free recipes
  • Gluten-Free cooking tips
  • Plenty of easily digestible (get it?) info about gluten and how it affects your body, why it’s addictive, hidden sources of gluten, and more
  • Bi-weekly emails with tips, support and bonus recipes
  • Daily group support via Twitter (#GlutenFreeCleanse)
  • Weekly live video chat/conference calls

Registration opens on Monday, February 20 at 10am EST. And the price goes up on Tuesday. Then the program kicks off on Friday, February 24. Participation is limited to 100 people.

So if you’ve been thinking about trying the gluten-free life, now is the time. Come and join the party!

To celebrate the program, I’m giving away a coveted spot!

There are two ways to win:

1. Peruse my gluten-free recipes and let me know your favourite by commenting on this post.

2. Visit Meghan’s blog, pick a favourite gluten-free recipe of hers and come back comment on this post to let me know which one.

Because this giveaway is an online program, anyone from around the world is eligible! Gotta love that.

Contest closes Monday, February 20 at 9:00am EST. I’ll randomly select a winner the morning of Monday, February 20. Good luck!
